Job Description

The primary role for the Solutions Analyst – Intermediate (HRIS) will be to participate in the development, configuration, implementation, support, maintenance, enhancement, and process improvement of business applications and systems primarily related to Human Resources including employee central, payroll, benefits, performance, and compensation.  This role provides primary technical support for a global instance of SAP SuccessFactors and regional support for Ceridian Dayforce including multiple integrations and for these systems.

This person may be assigned to support specific business units or corporate departments on a global basis and utilize a variety of computing platforms.  This position will collaborate with business functional areas, IT colleagues, external partners, and other stakeholders to identify business and system requirements, assess available technologies, and evaluate solution options.

This position is expected to have a broad knowledge of information technology culture, procedures, and experience with IT methodologies including project management techniques.  This role will interact with stakeholders and other experts to troubleshoot and resolve system problems.  This position will provide full life-cycle support, as well as authoring documentation, including operating procedures, functional and technical design specifications, and support documentation.

Responsibilities: 

  • Develop strong business process enablement relationships and act as a point for demand prioritization, resourcing and execution.
  • Coordinates support activity between stakeholders: O-I business functional units, their customers, third party suppliers and O-I Information Technology.
  • Leads and/or participates in identifying options for potential solutions and assessing them for both technical and business suitability.
  • Design, scope, implement, test, and deploy new features and versions of core applications, databases, and utilities based on business demand.
  • Troubleshoot, debug, and maintain deployments of core applications, databases, and utilities.
  • Propose solutions and upgrades to existing systems based on established portfolio lifecycles.
  • Work closely with developers and stakeholders to ensure technical compatibility and alignment to business requirements.
  • Participate in the implementation of new systems and upgrades to existing systems.
  • Create/maintain system support and process documentation for various audiences.
  • Provide training/mentoring to users and supporters of new and existing systems.
  • Provide seamless integration between Governance, IT delivery teams and business stakeholders to achieve business goals.

Scope & Impact: 

The Solutions Analyst – Intermediate (HRIS) provides direct support for multiple applications and systems across various functional business areas across the globe. Some of these applications are critical to daily business operations.

This position may have a global impact across multiple geographic regions and may serve as a primary IT contact for all levels up to and including senior management levels.

This position also monitors industry trends and proposes solutions for process improvement.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business or related discipline, or equivalent work experience.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in Information Technology or relevant business experience.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience with SAP Success Factors required.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in Human Resources, Payroll, and/or Benefit Services functional areas, or direct support for these functional areas in an Information Technology role.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience supporting and/or administering system related to Human Resources, Payroll and/or Benefit Services.
  • Demonstrates a broad understanding of the technical environment and capable of advising the best
