Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) has an exciting opportunity for a Project Management Specialist to join our dynamic team in El Segundo, CA.

Our teams are currently hiring for a broad range of experience levels including Associate and Mid-Level Project Management Specialist.

Position Responsibilities:

• Develops, integrates and analyzes integrated cost, schedule, technical, and risk management plans for high reliability electronics unit hardware, parts and/or STE development and delivery

• Supports preparation, development, coordination, scheduling, and change management activities of maintaining an integrated plan to meet program and/or project requirements in accordance with project management industry standards

• Participates in maintaining, analyzing and producing metrics related to plans

• Assists more experienced personnel with risk assessments, developing mitigation plan and refining the business case

• Develops, collects, organizes and provides data, updates task, to maintain status of programs, schedule, customer and supplier commitments and compliance

• Coordinates document work statements and resulting schedules

• Identifies and provide reports on performance variances, project status, change information to project team

• Communicates plan changes and recovery plans to ensure commitment to stakeholders

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

• Experience in Project/ Program Management

• Experience working with military or space electronics

• Experience in risk, issues and opportunities management

• Experience with Microsoft Office suite including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Project

• Experience executing projects in accordance with stakeholder objectives and schedules

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

• Level 3: 3 or more years’ related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience

• Bachelor’s degree or higher

• Experience with Earned Value Management (EVM)

• Experience in a leadership role, leading teams or projects to successful completion

• Project Management Professional (PMP/PMI) Certification

• Familiarity with Electronics Units and corresponding build flows

• Experience in a manufacturing/production environment

Work Location:

This position is expected to be 100% onsite.  The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.

Travel:

Position may require travel up to 10% of the time.

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.

Summary Pay Range for Associate level (Level 2): USD $73,950 – $100,050

Summary Pay Range for Mid-level (Level 3): USD $93,500 – $126,500
