We support fund managers, global companies, family offices and private clients operating worldwide.</p><h3>Job Description</h3><p>Responsible for the submission of all internal and external regulatory returns for the Private Wealth business in Guernsey.  Reporting will include all local and international reporting for client structures under management in the Private Wealth business.  The role will involve the offshoring of the preparation of regulatory submissions, and you will be required to work with the Global Centres of Delivery (“GCD”) to design workflows which procure timely completion and compliance with the relevant regulatory regime.  You will be responsible for the oversight and management of the relationship with the GCD with regards to the regulatory submissions for the Guernsey office.</p><p><strong>Responsibilities</strong></p><ul><li>Perform a variety of regulatory reporting tasks accurately and in a timely manner to support the ongoing compliance with regulatory obligations for managed entities within the Private Wealth business unit;</li><li>Remain up to date through CPD on legislative and regulatory matters and develop training for GCD and wider IQ-EQ staff on core legislative and regulatory matters and ensure all policies and processes are updated accordingly;</li><li>Provide a high level of quality client service and the accurate and timely provision of regulatory reporting services;</li><li>Assist with the day-to-day tasks within the regulatory reporting function in accordance with the Company’s policies and procedures;</li><li>Plan, prioritise and organise tasks and activities efficiently, ensuring effective time management of allocated tasks;</li><li>Assist in the management and leadership of the GCD relationship for regulatory reporting;</li><li>Actively contribute to initiatives to improve processes to drive operational excellence;</li><li>Assist with the development of the risk management processes which are embedded in the culture, operations and systems used by all staff, driving and exemplifying adherence to agreed policies, procedures and applicable regulation;</li><li>Responsible for more junior members of staff and ensuring they are trained and mentored so that they are fully conversant with the regulatory reporting functions and the Company’s policies and procedures;</li><li>Develop interview skills, recruiting talented individuals;</li><li>Assist line Manager with meeting business, financial and operational initiatives and projects;</li><li>Actively support the delivery of the business KPI’s relating to the regulatory reporting responsibilities to ensure these are effectively managed, controlled and achieved in accordance with our ongoing business requirements.</li></ul><p><strong>Tasks</strong></p><ul><li>Work in Job stream to ensure the Regulatory Reporting and Economic substance information is up to date and ensuring (with the support of the GCD) that appropriate documentation is produced to support the relevant corporate actions which are required to approve the relevant filings;</li><li>Assist the client administration teams with regard to completion and submission of Guernsey Revenue Service registration/de-registration forms as required:</li><li>Completion of Economic Substance Questionnaires and Guernsey Corporate Income Tax Returns as required for Guernsey and foreign incorporated (but controlled in Guernsey) companies;</li><li>Completion of Foreign Economic Substance Submissions where required by liaising with the registered agents in other jurisdictions;</li><li>Completion of the annual validations within relevant jurisdictions;</li><li>Completion (or assistance with completion) of tasks relating to other regulatory frameworks as may be notified by your manager from time to time including but not limited to:<ul><li>LEIs;</li><li>UK Trusts Register;</li><li>Register of Overseas Entities;</li><li>Beneficial Ownership; and</li><li>Guernsey Registry.</li></ul></li><li>Support with data quality analysis, preparation of regulatory reporting information and submission of reporting on a timely basis;</li><li>Managing the Regulatory Reporting mailbox and providing responses to queries on topics relating to, but not limited to, Economic Substance and Guernsey Corporate Income Tax Returns, with guidance when required;</li><li>Build and maintain effective relationships with stakeholders, software providers, regulatory bodies, Guernsey Registry and tax offices and other professional intermediaries;</li><li>Assist with project work as the business requires;</li><li>Provide timely and constructive feedback on regulatory administration matters;</li><li>Work proactively and collaboratively with all Administration Team members, Regulatory Reporting staff together with the GCDs on all regulatory reporting administration task
