Summary
The Menninger Clinic is seeking a staff psychologist to join our excellent team of professionals in the Psychology Service. The staff psychologist is responsible for applying the knowledge, skills, and perspectives of clinical psychology to the services provided at The Menninger Clinic including, but not limited to, assessment, diagnosis, treatment planning, consultation, education, training, supervision, research, and administration. The staff psychologist will provide psychological testing, psychotherapy, and other clinical services in various inpatient and/or outpatient program areas as needed. These services may be delivered individually or within an interdisciplinary team setting. Broad experience with different assessment domains including neuro-cognitive testing is highly desirable. The staff psychologist will have the opportunity to work alongside trainees in psychiatry, psychology, social work, mental health counselors, and nursing.
Minimum Qualifications
Doctorate in clinical or counseling psychology; completion of post-doctoral training comprising of at least 12 months of supervised clinical hours; licensed by the Texas State Board of Examiners of Psychologists; demonstrated skill in clinical work; a thorough grounding in diagnostic evaluation and intensive individual psychotherapy; familiarity with a wide range of assessment and treatment modalities; ability to work effectively with interdisciplinary teams; commitment to education; and current CPR certification. Preferred: two (2) years of demonstrated assignments in an interdisciplinary team treatment setting.
