This position is full-time in the Department of Psychiatry in the Studies of Early Anxiety Lab on the Medical School Campus. The Professional Rater I will assist study coordinators in numerous phases of multiple studies led by Dr. Chad Sylvester. Primary Duties & Responsibilities:
- Administer behavioral assessments for participants age 4 months to 12 years, including set-up, providing age-appropriate instructions for child/parent, and entering data in a timely manner.
- Screen, consent, and schedule participants via phone and in-person as research protocols dictate.
- Assist with the administration of fMRIs for infant and child participants. Guide parents and children through the process by providing thorough instructions and responding appropriately to subject concerns.
- Administrative tasks including organizing and managing subject databases, data entry, tracking and ordering supplies etc.
- Write and modify IRB protocols.
- Interact with children of all ages in various experimental settings.
- Oversee the training and supervision of student volunteers.
Required Qualifications
Education:
Bachelor’s degree or combination of education and/or experience may substitute for minimum education.

Required Qualifications:
- Basic Life Support certification must be obtained within one month of hire date.
- Basic Life Support certification (Online BLS certifications, those without a skills assessment component, are not sufficient to meet the BLS requirements).
- Some evening and weekend availability will be required for this position.

$17.34 - $25.40 / HourlyThe salary range reflects base salaries paid for positions in a given job grade across the University.
