 Job Responsibilities:                 

•            Retrieve samples and perform all required Quality Control inspections according to defined schedule and test procedures

•            Data collection and entry via computer into QC database

•            Reclassify scrap material in D365 enterprise system

•            Responsible for re-testing and containing rejected and potentially defective product

•            Assist with internal audits. 

•            Support Work Instruction creating and updating 

•            Assist with coverage on other shifts, as needed (nights/weekends). 

•            Perform sample evaluations on customer returns/complaints

•            Perform sample evaluations on competitor’s products

•            Ability to write evaluation reports

•            Support investigations into Root Cause and Corrective Actions

•            Support R&D in special testing

•            Investigate issues when product is placed on hold

•            Ability to maintain confidentiality of information

•            Assist with troubleshooting and problem-solving

•            Keep work area clean which includes Internal Hold area and lab testing areas

•            Other related duties and responsibilities as required or assigned            

Skills / Experience / Education Requirements:

• Education:  Associate degree or higher preferred, and/or 2-3 years of inventory or Quality Testing and/or Inspection experience.
• Skills: Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook), basic mathematical calculations, computer data entry, and technical report writing.
• Ability to communicate with Shift Supervisors, Lead Technicians, Line Technicians, and all other personnel in a professional manner

Working Conditions / Physical Requirements:

• Primary – Primarily works in controlled environment in Quality Lab, but frequently exposed to light manufacturing conditions and potential extreme temperatures.
• PPE Required: Steel-toed boots, hard hat, safety glasses and earplugs.
• Physical Requirements:
• Ability to lift at least 50 lbs. periodically
• Ability to stand for long periods of time
• Ability to use both arms and hands
• Ability to bend and stoop frequently
