To achieve that mission, you will be working together with 4 experienced claims handlers based in Belgium and join a network of more than 650 claims experts around the world.</p> <p> </p> <p>The Impact You Will Have <br/> Reporting to the Head of Claims, you will be delivering effective and efficient claims handling across the lines of business in scope. Your responsibilities will include creating and maintaining peer level relationships with brokers, collaborating with other departments to ensure accurate claims administration, and completing general claims administration tasks as required. You will manage a portfolio of clients and be the main entry point for all their claims. </p> <p> </p> <p>Some of your specific responsibilities could include:</p> <ul> <li>Handle from cradle to grave both Belgian and international claims mostly in Financial Lines and Liability. Your assistance in managing Property and Engineering would be also required. </li> <li>Input, process and maintain accurate claims records (e.g., reserves, payments) for designated accounts. </li> <li>Produce management information reports (e.g., monthly major claims movements). </li> <li>Prepare referral documentation and materials as appropriate.</li> <li>Report loss information internally and externally.</li> <li>Work with other teams during the Claims handling process, such as Risk Consulting, Underwriting and Operations, as well as with colleagues in our offices abroad.</li> <li>Participate in IT/digital projects to share your technical insights, e.g., as a Subject Matter Expert.</li> </ul> <p> </p> <p>What You’ll Bring to the Role</p> <ul> <li>Experience in Claims for corporate clients in the relevant lines and markets, predominantly Financial Lines and Liability. </li> <li>A good understanding of coverage principles.</li> <li>Understanding of relevant legal framework, processes, guidelines, and litigation management. </li> <li>Knowledge of reserving principles and practices.</li> <li>Highly organized, able to prioritize and work to deadlines. </li> <li>Positive team spirit and an excitement to learn. </li> <li>Language requirements are Dutch, French, and English as this is a market-facing function in a multi-cultural environment. </li> <li>At ease in Microsoft 365, especially Excel, and experience using a Claims digital solution.</li> </ul> <p><br/> 36842 | Customer Services &amp; Claims | Professional | Allianz Commercial | Full-Time | Permanent</p> <p> </p> <p>What’s in it for you?</p> <p><br/> Let’s care about everything that makes you, you<br/> We are committed to nurturing an inclusive environment where everyone feels they belong.
