Data Analytics Senior Analyst - C12 - DUBLIN

<p>The Data Analytics Senior Analyst is a seasoned professional role that will applies in-depth disciplinary knowledge, contributing to the development of new techniques and the improvement of processes and work-flow for the area or function. As a Data Analytics Senior Analyst, you will integrate subject matter and industry expertise within a defined area. This role requires in-depth understanding of how areas collectively integrate within the sub-function as well as coordinate and contribute to the objectives of the function and overall business.  We are looking for the successful candidate to evaluate moderately complex and variable issues with substantial potential impact, where development of an approach/taking of an action involves weighing various alternatives and balancing potentially conflicting situations using multiple sources of information.</p><p>Regularly assumes informal/formal leadership role within teams. In this role you will be involved in coaching and training of new recruits. Significant impact in terms of project size, geography, etc. by influencing decisions through advice, counsel and/or facilitating services to others in area of specialization.<br/><br/><b><u><span>Responsibilities:</span></u></b></p><ul><li>Contributes to the development of analytics and IA solutions across different functions within the bank.</li><li>Delivers analytics initiatives to address business problems with the ability to identify data required, assess time &amp; effort required and establish a project plan.</li><li>Applies sound judgement and decision-making considering implications of different technologies, risk and value-add impact of initiatives.</li><li>Conducts strategic data analysis, identifies insights and implications and make strategic recommendations, develops data displays that clearly communicate complex analysis.</li><li>Mines and analyzes data from various banking platforms to drive optimization and improve data quality.</li></ul><p><br/><b><u>Qualifications:</u></b></p><ul><li>Extensive experience using tools for statistical modelling of large data sets</li><li>Ability to effectively use complex analytical, interpretive and problem solving techniques</li><li>Demonstrated interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills</li></ul><p><br/><b><u>Education:</u></b></p><ul><li><span>Bachelor’s/University</span> degree or equivalent experience</li></ul><p><br/>This job description provides a high-level review of the types of work performed.
