Senior Inventory Accountant - NAIP

Responsibilities:

• Prepare month end journal entries to record inventory transactions, revaluation, PPV adjustments, absorption, SLOB and Book-To-Physical reserves, as well as additional entries as needed
• Coordinate monthly standard cost update
• Coordinate with IBM (offshore team) to review and record inventory journal entries
• Support plant & divisional controllers including researching issues and preparing analytics
• Prepare balance sheet account reconciliations for US balance sheet accounts
• FP&A Deliverables - Variances, Forecast, Budget
• Prepare schedules needed for the quarterly BS analysis
• Work with teams on Intercompany related transactions
• Ad-hoc analytics and assist on projects as needed
• Assist with external audit needs
• Build and develop relationships with key stakeholders across the company

 

Requirements

• Accounting degree
• Experience with manufacturing cost accounting and inventory
• Experience with preparing account reconciliations and journal entries
• 5+ years of accounting experience, including month end close; Big 4 a plus
• Comfortable working in a Fast-Paced Environment
• Large ERP system (QAD a plus)
• Strong Excel skills a must
• Strong attention to detail
• Team player is a must with excellent communication and interpersonal skills
