Job Summary: 

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced 3rd Shift Lead/Supervisor to oversee our janitorial operations during the night shift. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in janitorial services, excellent leadership skills, and a commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and safety.

Pay: $22.00 an hour

The pay listed is the hourly range or the hourly rate for this position.   A specific offer will vary based on applicant’s experience, skills, abilities, geographic location, and alignment with market data. 

 

Shift:  3rd Shift - Monday - Friday 8:30pm - 5am

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and coordinate the activities of janitorial staff on the 3rd shift.
• Ensure all areas of the facility are cleaned and maintained to the highest standards.
• Monitor and enforce safety protocols to maintain a safe working environment.
• Train and mentor team members to enhance their skills and performance.
• Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback.
• Troubleshoot and resolve any cleaning or maintenance issues in a timely manner.
• Collaborate with other shift supervisors and management to ensure smooth transitions between shifts.
• Maintain accurate records of cleaning schedules, supplies, and equipment.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical or vocational training preferred.
• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in janitorial services, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
• Strong knowledge of cleaning procedures, products, and equipment.
• Excellent leadership and communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
• Proficiency in using janitorial management software and tools.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work the night shift and be flexible with working hours.
