What does a Program Manager, Product Graphics do at Hogarth?
The Program Manager, Product Graphics assists Design Producers in organizing documentation, reviewing content accuracy for artwork files, routing, tracking and documenting stakeholder review and approvals by helping the team meet tight deadlines in peak seasons. You will manage deliverable due dates according to established standards and timelines, while also coming up with creative solutions to challenges.
Key responsibilities:
- Leveraging the Visual Matrix hand off meeting, gain insight into the required content, key stakeholders and design timeline. Create production schedule built off Design schedule. (new) to be reviewed / approved by PG Producer.
- Communicate updates collected from Design Producers to stakeholders to facilitate the routing and content approval process
- Route files to stakeholders for approval - tracking and documenting key milestones, feedback and approvals throughout Work with Design Producer if any artwork is not approved to identify a path to approval.
- Communicate approvals and next steps with Design Producers and Design team
- Provide complete and timely feedback on changes or updates impacting the design intent, deliverable or timeline.
- Collate and gather final and approved artwork files —with the direction of the Product Graphics Producers—prior to handing off to the design team. Ensure all artwork files have been approved by the Design Producers before releasing for suppliers.
- QC and organize assets for each mechanical (part numbers, supporting visuals, spec files etc, etc.).
- QC final files and release to stakeholders for suppliers per the established process and timeline
- Collaborate with stakeholders to align on FAI (First Article Inspection) schedules. Track and manage FAIs through all SKUs and colors through all rounds to final approval
- QC photo FAI’s prior to sharing with the Design team and stakeholders
- Prepare asset handoff documents for review by Design Producers and route to client groups.
- Collaborate with the Product Graphics team to document best practices and standard operating procedures and processes for both internal and external partners.
- Practice extreme attention to detail in cross-referencing all assets against the final mechanicals per a checklist, confirming accuracy of content and design intent
Requirements:
- BA/BS degree in Graphic Communications or equivalent.
- 10+ years project management experience preferred.
