Senior Program Manager (Latin America)

Overview

As a Senior Program Manager, you successfully usher our client programs through their lifecycle. In collaboration with our delivery teams, you will draft project plans while managing scope and risk mitigation. You will help manage and flag the varying constraints in people, time, and budget that may affect program delivery. With a sharp eye to financial forecasts and project timelines, you ensure our program delivery experience is seamless, efficient, and enjoyable for internal teams and clients alike. 

A Senior Program Manager is expected to work on programs with limited managerial oversight and assist in the development of improved processes, procedures, and documentation tools for the team. This is a full-time employment opportunity.

Responsibilities

• Support the service delivery or product delivery team(s) in managing resources, projects and budgets to meet the goals of the business and clients
• Assist and draft project documentation, including budget reports, and project status updates, and other necessary documentation
• Oversee program budget by monitoring how budget is being utilized and expended in the context of the program plan
• Ensure project timelines and deliverables are met at each stage, streamlining communication
• Support alignment and collaboration among project delivery teams, enabling direct team-client interaction rather than acting as sole conduit between VGV and the client
• Maintain processes to ensure project management documentation, reports and plans are relevant, accurate, and complete
• Determine and set team(s) collaboration style and cadence
• Decision tracking and information dissemination
• Ensure smooth on-boarding and off-boarding of program resources
• Anticipate and troubleshoot budgetary, staffing, or sequencing risks arising in project delivery
• Be the primary, day-to-day point-of-contact for the clients to ensure a smooth delivery experience, specifically as the first point of contact for questions on program timeline, status, budget, progress, and escalations 
• Manage responsibility for multiple clients and projects concurrently 
• Utilize Agile methodologies in your work
• Help establish and manage a project methodology incorporating structures, standards, processes, documentation, and reporting
• Improve processes, policies, and standards of project management
• Provide training and education on standard project management methodologies that worked for you in your past career experiences

Qualifications

• 5 to 10+ years of experience in project, or program management roles
• Previous experience in consultancy firms and/or agencies
• Availability to work in U.S. Central Time (CT)
• Highly fluent English command is mandatory (C1 level or higher)
• Proven ability to establish and maintain strong relationships with strategic clients, showcasing a positive client service mentality
• Ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
• Strong familiarity with mobile native platforms, including iOS and Android, as well as the Flutter framework 
• Actively collaborates with internal and external stakeholders to drive account growth and expansion. This role requires active participation in commercial operations
• Need to balance delivery excellence with growth opportunities, identifying opportunities while partnering with the business development team
