OnsiteJoin our dynamic Customer Property Team at Collins Aerospace, Power & Controls Business Unit in Windsor Locks, Connecticut! We are seeking a motivated and collaborative Customer Property Analyst to ensure our company’s compliance with customer and government property requirements.
The ideal candidate is a seasoned property management professional with expertise in FAR property outcomes, government audits, and experience in material manufacturing, management, or production. You will provide essential support to multiple customers, including the DoD, NASA, and other government programs, while also enhancing the site and property organization’s procedures and processes.
This role involves close collaboration with various site functions, our Government and Subcontract customers, the central property organization, and internal stakeholders. This is an onsite position located in Windsor Locks, Connecticut.

What You Will Do
- Assure compliance to contract requirements, regulations, and internal policies and procedures for managing customer property.
- Transactional activity and reporting for designated programs and/or activities.
- Interface with site leadership and functional personnel to ensure compliance with established processes and procedures.
- Support internal and third-party assessments/audits and drive corrective actions identified resulting from those activities.
- Generate and/or provide accurate and timely property status reports and metrics for management and internal and external customers.
- Support physical inventory activities of customer property, including records reconciliation and reporting.
- Perform all property closeout activities including any disposition actions and/or loss of customer property reports for assigned programs.
- Schedule and work with Procurement to perform subcontractor audits, as assigned.
- Partner with Contract Management organization to ensure property management related requirements are executed for assigned contracts/programs.
- Assist the organization Business Unit Property Manager in supporting other sites where required.
- Routinely assess procedures and provide suggestions for streamlining and improving processes.
- Comply with the EH&S Policy and applicable regulatory and company EH&S rules and requirements, and support EH&S efforts to improve practices.
- Comply with applicable Global Trade Compliance (GTC) policies and procedures.
- 10% domestic travel as needed.
- Must have or be capable of obtaining a US Department of Defense (DoD) security clearance. Candidate selected will be subject to a government security investigation/reinstatement and must meet eligibility requirements.
Qualifications You Must Have
- U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract.
- Typically requires a University Degree and minimum 5 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years of experience or in absence of a degree, 9 years of relevant experience.
Qualifications We Prefer
- Previous Government Property Management experience preferred.
- Ability to review data with an analytical approach to identify process disconnects or potential system errors.
- Seasoned professional contributor, National Property Management Association Certification preferred; CPPA or CPPS or membership.
- National Property Management Association (NPMA) membership.
- Has advanced knowledge of work area, FAR, DFARS, NASA FAR Supplement and ability to read and apply regulatory requirements.
- Working knowledge and understanding of Government contracts.
- Physical inventory and material handling experience is preferred.
- Experience with SAP (or comparable ERP system) transactions; MS Office, MS SharePoint; Sunflower Asset Management System.
- Effective writing and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work in a team environment and drive change.
