We are hiring a Director of Fed Settlements into the Fed Settlements Team!
 

You will be responsible for leading a global team of 8 - 15 associates and managing the Fed settlements operations provided on behalf of our client. Responsibilities will include administrative tasks related to people management, interfacing with our clients, and driving innovation in the teams to meet the department goals. Given the complexity of the role you will need to be a strong developer of people and an exceptional communicator. You will nurture talent, encourage mobility and champion the growth of your people all while providing extraordinary client service and satisfaction during periods of rapid growth.

Responsibilities:
•    Provide outsourced operational/transactional business process support for clients, ensuring quality service and operational performance within the parameters of both the client needs and contract
•    Lead and supervise Fedwire Security Settlement functions and related processes such as Triparty, FICC/GSCC and TMPG for a U.S. team with responsibilities governing our global off-shore resources.
•    Oversee supervisors, team leads, and associates in the Fedwire Settlements area. Coach and mentor staff with responsibilities include providing constructive feedback, conducting annual performance reviews, managing salary and bonus budget for the group.

•    Identify automation opportunities and make recommendations to implement technical solutions in an efficient manner.
•    Accountable for daily operational functions. Address daily operational escalations from clients as a result of system or human error and resolve them in a timely manner. Also communicate the issue, solution, and plan of action for future avoidance in a timely manner to both the internal and external parties.
•    Mitigate Financial risk and market exposure for clients by proactively addressing unsettled trades with high Mark to Market (MTM) exposure and by monitoring ledger-to-bank reconciliation reports.
•    Participate in recruitment process by conducting technical interviews, devise training plan for new associates, supervise and track their progress via various metrics.

•    Implement and maintain quality controls by ensuring Written Supervisory Procedures (WSP) is adhered by the group.
•    Develop and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) for training purposes, for reference during critical issues and for seamless operations.

Qualifications:
•    4+ years of experience with a bachelor's degree/equivalent experience
•    Series 99 preferred
•    A self-starter with keen attention to detail
•    Ability to work under tight deadlines and multi-task
•    Quick-learner that can adapt to a growing business
•    Ability to maintain positive relationships with clients and internal associates alike
•    Excellent verbal and written presentation skills
•    Proven knowledge of operations products and processes
•    Strong customer service orientation & strong prioritization and interpersonal skills
•    Impact/BONY BDC/FICC RTTM/BONY Accessedge experience a significant plus

Salary range $130,000.00- $140,000.00. Bonus Eligible.
