About the role

The Opportunity

The Manager of Senior Administrative Assistants’ overall role is to communicate company needs, oversee Senior Administrative Assistants I & II performance, provide guidance, support, identify development needs, and manage the reciprocal relationship between Senior Administrative Assistants and the organization.

 

What You’ll Do

  • Work closely and collaboratively with the Senior Business Services Manager and Facilities Managers.
  • Manages a team of senior administrative employees, communicating job expectations, planning, monitoring, and evaluating work performance.
  • Continuously monitors and evaluates the efficiency and effectiveness of service delivery methods and procedures; assesses and monitors workload and manages senior administrative support systems.
  • Identifies and resolves problems.
  • Maintains administrative staff by recruiting, selecting, orienting, and training employees.
  • Sets policies and procedures for training, coaching, and career development for staff.
  • Maintains rapport with leadership, managers, and employees.
  • Develops and leads Business Services initiatives.
  • Assists with the administrative budget and helps control department expenses.

 

 

What We Expect from You

  • Two-year technical degree or bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years of high-level administrative experience.
  • Management experience required.
  • Proven experience in Microsoft Software Applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Excellent verbal/written communications, time management, analytical/interpersonal ,and organizational skills
  • Excellent attention to detail, accuracy, follow-through, and ability to work on multiple projects
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively with individuals at all levels in the organization in a team environment
  • Proactive, resourceful, strong decision maker, and self-motivated forward thinker who actively seeks opportunities and proposes solutions for team, department, and company improvements
  • Ability to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment, and productively manage competing priorities while maintaining deadlines
  • Exercise good judgment in a diversity of situations
  • Proven ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality and discretion
  • Must have authorization to work permanently in the U.S.
