The Impact You Will Have

As a Medicaid Program Health Manager within the Medicaid Performance Hub, you will play a critical role in ensuring predictable execution, performance visibility, and delivery on contractual commitments. You will support the design, development, implementation, and evaluation of programs that improve the delivery of health care services and the health of our members, partnering with leadership and cross-functional teams to advance strategic priorities and help the business effectively manage change. You will provide the analytics backbone for the Hub—transforming operational, clinical, and customer (state/county) data into actionable insights that enable leaders to make proactive, informed decisions. Your work will help ensure program execution stays aligned to contractual and market expectations—including member, provider, and stakeholder needs—while managing work across multiple initiatives and tight deadlines. By monitoring key metrics, identifying risks and opportunities, and delivering clear, data-driven reporting, you will help the enterprise anticipate and support RFP and pursuit cycles, maintain compliance, and meet year-over-year performance expectations.

What You’ll Do

This position is being posted at a hierarchy and can be hired at either the Senior Medicaid Program Health Manager level or at the Medicaid Program Health Manager level.  The identified candidate will be hired at the level commensurate with their skills.

Senior Medicaid Program Health Manager

  • Drive the development and documentation of design, requirements and implementation of multiple strategic programs.
  • Manage multiple communication plans in conjunction with leadership and to support initiatives, including status and progress updates.

Medicaid Program Health Manager

  • Support the development and documentation of design, requirements and implementation of multiple strategic programs.
  • Monitor multiple appropriate metrics, perform data analysis and evaluation for each initiative.


How You’ll Do It

  • Maintain strategic relationships and partner with key resources, both internal and external, to support the design and ensure market, member, and provider considerations are factored into the design.
  • Support the business decision making process to ensure capabilities, systems and processes meet market expectations and that alternate approaches are vetted and explored.
  • Support the ongoing program management work of multiple programs to ensure the strategy is in alignment to solutions put forth through skills of influence.
  • Continually update program or project plans, timelines and deliverables while coordinating multiple sub-processes to expand and/or improve programs.
  • Stay abreast of changes in the rapidly evolving health care marketplace.
  • Performs additional responsibilities consistent with the scope and level of the role, as assigned.

Pay Range: Medicaid Program Health Manager $79,100.00 - $104,800.00 - $130,500.00 Annual - Senior Medicaid Program Health Manager $90,800.00 - $120,300.00 - $149,800.00 Annual



Required Skills & Experience

  • 5+ years of related project/program management professional experience.
  • Bachelor’s degree; in lieu of a degree, an additional two years of relevant experience beyond the qualifications listed above may be accepted.

  • Ability to communicate complex topics clearly and concisely, actively listen to anticipate stakeholder needs, and align others to drive informed decisions.
  • Ability to analyze complex information, evaluate options, and work cross-functionally to drive resolution and prevent recurrence.
  • Ability to effectively organize work, balance competing priorities, and manage time across complex assignments and competing deadlines.
  • Healthcare or managed care experience.
  • Experience managing complex projects which may involve multiple team members, task assignment, working with internal or external clients, managing teams and customer relationships, and managing project deliverables.
