Job Description
Zevenbergen Capital Investments LLC (ZCI) is a forward-thinking, boutique, investment advisory firm specializing in growth equity investing built on a foundation of fundamental, bottom-up research. We have nearly 40 years of experience serving both institutional and individual clients across the US and are looking to add a top-quality individual to our team in Edmonds, Washington.
OPPORTUNITY:
We are looking for a motivated Client Service Specialist to join our Business Development team to directly support growth in firm assets under management. This position plays an important role in supporting our service and sales efforts, responding to customer requests and helping manage our digital presence.
The ideal candidate will be entrusted with a high level of responsibility and should welcome challenges, enjoy an interesting and dynamic workflow, embrace a fast-paced environment, be resourceful and able to work independently, possess outstanding project management skills and be able to communicate effectively with all members of the ZCI team, as well as existing and prospective clients. In joining a small firm, this candidate must be able to take on a variety of tasks and projects that often involve multiple functional teams.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
Business Development Support and Relationship Management
- Coordinate outreach efforts and set up virtual meetings to maintain and strengthen relationships with financial advisors while also acting as a contact for day-to-day client and prospect requests.
- Prepare sales presentations and proposals, coordinate planning for client meetings, seminars and calls. Provide monthly internal reports; coordinate quarterly webinars and aid in updating and developing marketing materials.
- Promote ZCI’s products in any suitable wrapper and be able to comfortably discuss with all channels including wealth advisory, family offices, broker dealers, consultants, endowments and public plans.
- Maintain accurate records of client interactions and sales activities in the CRM system to ensure timely follow up.
Marketing
- Manage digital presence including social media accounts and website, ensuring they are up-to-date, visually aligned with our brand and responsive to inbound inquiries.
- Collaborate with compliance, business development and research team to generate compelling talking points and materials for clients and prospects.
Minimum Requirements for Consideration
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance or related field
- Two years of work experience in the financial services industry
- Proactive approach, able to complete multiple directives and meet tight deadlines
- Strong client-service orientation and exceptional communication skills (written and verbal)
- Knowledgeable in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word and PowerPoint)
Desirable Skills and Experiences
- Series 65 license or willingness to attain Series 65 license within 6 months
- Technical experience with Salesforce, Advent APX, FactSet and investment related databases (e.g., Envestnet and Dakota) a plus.
Physical Requirements
- Locally based, 4 days/week working from the office and 1 day/week remote work.
- Willing to embrace pre- and/or post – NYSE trading work hours as needed.
Position Details
- Salary Range: $70,000 – 100,000 plus discretionary bonus potential
- Paid time off: Vacation that increases with tenure, beginning at a rate of 15
