Job Description

Tokyo Electron is seeking a highly motivated and experienced data engineer to join our data platform and analytics team. Responsibilities include the develop and maintain data products to feed business intelligence tools. Collaborate with data and business teams to source and transform data for their needs. Need an individual who can build creative solutions for business demand. 
 

Responsibilities: 

  • Collaborate with data and business teams to deliver data products across the organization (specifically supply chain operations).   
  • Work closely with business to develop focused data strategy for scalable and long-term data platform/architecture.  
  • Perform data analysis involved to troubleshoot data related issues and/or aid in resolution of data issues.  
  • Create feature branches; write unit, integration, and quality assurance tests via pull requests.  
  • Run and monitor orchestration flows and troubleshoot failures.  
  • Create and maintain data pipelines as needed.  

Education/Experience:  

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, software engineering, or other engineering disciplines. 3+ years of experience in data engineering. Preferred tools/Languages: Prefect, Snowflake, Azure DevOps, Azure Pipelines, Microsoft CRM, Astronomer, Spark, Git, DBT, PowerBI, Tableau, Python, SQL.  
  • Experince building scaleable ETL pipelines on industry standard Orchestration tools(Airflow, Astronomer) with deep expertise in PySpark 
  • Experience leading data engineering team with GitOPs workflow, CI/CD etc. 

Qualifications/Skills: 

  • Knowledge of best practices and IT operations 
  • Experience with or knowledge of Agile Software Development methodologies  
  • Experience in DevOps and basic project development lifecycle.  
  • Excellent problem solving and troubleshooting skills. 
  • Process oriented with great documentation skills.  
  • Exceptional oral and written communication skills.
