Data Architect

Responsibilities

Peraton is seeking a Data Architect who can leverage experience and expertise in data exploration, engineering, and ETL to explore, architect, develop, and deploy solutions for processing structured and unstructured data into usable data formats for long term storage, search, and analysis. 

  

• Understands data structures and can make recommendations to optimize application-specific data stores
• Experience working with both structured, semi-structured, and unstructured data to include data parsing, transformation, schema definition, and query/analysis. 
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively. 
• High levels of curiosity, creativity, and problem-solving capabilities. 
• Strong written and verbal communication skills. 
• Experience with data pipelines or be willing to learn a pipeline from bottom to top 

Qualifications

You must have an active Top Secret security clearance with SCI eligibility and the ability to pass a polygraph. 

 

 

Required Qualifications: 

• BS Degree or equivalent and 5 years of experience with programming and software development to include analysis, design, development, implementation, testing, maintenance, quality assurance, troubleshooting and/or upgrading of software systems.  
• Experience troubleshooting and supporting enterprise applications while maintaining 24/7 availability. 

Desired Qualifications: 

• Have knowledge of Databricks  
• Experience with Python, SQL, and/or Spark. 
• Have worked in an Agile environment.

Target Salary Range

$112,000 - $179,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
