Summary/Objective

Ensure Infrastructure Asset Management (IAM) System operation.

Essential Job Duties

  • Coordinate access, maintain files, and generate reports related to data acquisition, analysis, and quality control.
  • Provide end-user training on data access and reporting features.
  • Update Infrastructure Asset Management Program asset inventory.
  • Collaborate with various Departments, Business Units, and staff to review data and produce deliverables.
  • Provide guidance to data collectors and perform quality control activities.
  • Perform project management duties, including tasking, testing, presentation, and implementation.
  • Resolve vendor issues.
  • Perform software functionality and data integrity testing and verification.
  • Maintain existing program documentation and create new documentation.

Ancillary Job Duties

  • Other duties as assigned.

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
  • At least four (4) years of relevant professional experience (preferably 5-8 years).
  • Must maintain a current, valid driver’s license.

Work Environment

  • Work is typically performed in a standard office environment.

Physical Abilities

  • Remain in a stationary position 70% or more of the time.
  • Operate a computer and other office productivity machinery.
  • Frequently communicate and exchange accurate information.
  • Clarity of vision at 20 inches or less.
  • Regularly lift up to 5 pounds, correctly lift up to 10 pounds.
  • Concentrated attention is required at all times.
  • Regular attendance is a necessary and essential function.

This position has been determined to be Exempt according to the Fair Labor Standards Act.  Employees must agree to accept compensatory time in lieu of cash payments in accordance with the Department's Compensatory Time Off and Overtime Policy. 

Salaried and hourly employees are expected to use a mobile device-cellular phone for Department business, as needed.
