The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing a comprehensive data and analytics strategy aligned with Lucid Powertrain objectives. This role requires strong leadership skills to drive resource planning, lab expansion, and infrastructure development. The Director will lead and mentor a high-performing powertrain data team, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and excellence.


The Role:

• Lead the development and implementation of a robust data and analytics strategy aligned with Lucid Powertrain objectives and goals.
• Take charge of powertrain resource planning to ensure optimal utilization.
• Develop and execute a strategy for the expansion of powertrain labs.
• Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing powertrain data team.
• Automate data processes and conduct complex data events on vehicle fleet and manufacturing data cloud.
• Provide visionary leadership to the powertrain data engineering team.
• Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and excellence within the powertrain data team.
• Drive powertrain infrastructure needs and allocate resources effectively.
• Build, mentor, and manage the powertrain infrastructure team.
• Work closely with Lucid’s central data team to ensure alignment with overall company objectives.
• Collaborate with powertrain engineering teams, including battery, drive unit, power electronics, and relevant hardware and software engineering.
• Develop and execute a strategy for powertrain global expansion, including the USA and KSA.
• Lead a team to achieve powertrain infrastructure needs on a global scale.
• Collaborate with the leadership team to align with program objectives across powertrain and company goals.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in related field; advanced degree preferred.
• Proven experience in leading data analytics and infrastructure teams in the automotive industry.
• Strong strategic thinking and planning skills.
• Demonstrated ability to drive innovation and lead high-performing teams.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Global expansion experience is a plus.
