We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Reports and Dashboard Designer to join our HR People Analytics team. In this role, you will transform complex workforce data into visually stunning, user-friendly reports and dashboards that enhance data storytelling and decision-making for HR and business leaders. With a strong emphasis on design and user experience, you will leverage tools like Tableau, PowerPoint, and other platforms to craft outputs that are not only data-driven but also intuitive and visually appealing. While a strong foundation in data handling is essential, your main focus will be translating data into compelling visual dashboards, reports, and stories that connect with stakeholders.
What You’ll Do:
- Create high-quality dashboards, reports, and presentations using Tableau, PowerPoint, and other tools, prioritizing aesthetics, clarity, and usability.
- Transform complex HR and workforce data into easy-to-understand narratives using effective data visualization techniques.
- Ensure reports and dashboards are optimized for responsiveness and quick load times without compromising design integrity.
- Collaborate with HR business partners, talent leaders, and executives to understand their needs, refining designs through collaboration while maintaining a high standard of quality and polish.
- Establish guidelines for report layouts, colors, typography, and interactivity to create a consistent user experience.
- Introduce fresh ideas and innovative approaches to data visualization and presentation design, ensuring our deliverables remain cutting-edge.
- Balance competing priorities and deadlines to deliver exceptional work in a fast-paced environment.
- Assume full ownership of reporting for the HR management system (SuccessFactors), Tableau, and other reporting platforms.
What You’ll Bring:
- Bachelor’s degree in graphic design, UX/UI, data visualization, or a related field (or equivalent experience) preferred.
- 2-4 years of experience in report design, dashboard creation, or a related field with a strong focus on visual design and UX.
- Proficiency in Tableau for dashboard development and PowerPoint for presentation design; familiarity with additional tools (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite, Power BI) is a plus.
- Proficiency in Power BI, Tableau, or other visualization tools.
- Exceptional design sensibility with an eye for layout, typography, color theory, and storytelling through visuals.
- Strong understanding of UX principles as they apply to data presentation and dashboard interactivity.
- Excellent communication skills to collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Detail-oriented with a passion for creating polished, pixel-perfect deliverables.
- Experience with wireframing and prototyping tools (Figma, Adobe XD, etc.).
- Basic knowledge of SQL for data structuring is a plus.
- Experience with SuccessFactors or another HR management system is a huge plus.
Portfolio:
Candidates will be asked to submit a portfolio showcasing previous dashboard/report designs and demonstrating creativity and usability.
