PAY RANGE: $135,300.00 - $150,000.00 ANNUALLY
GENERAL DESCRIPTION:
The Senior Manager, Marketing Operations and Performance, leads the execution of the aligned strategy, talent, and processes that power the Marketing organization’s operational excellence. This role ensures seamless collaboration, scalable systems, and consistent execution across all marketing channels. The Senior Manager is responsible for evolving design, governing, and optimizing the department’s operational processes, with an emphasis on efficiency, accountability, and achieving measurable business outcomes. Through their leadership, demonstrated influence, disciplined execution, and strategic use of technology, this role empowers marketing to operate as a high performing, data informed, and scalable function. By leading and developing the operations team, the Senior Manager fosters a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement, translating complex processes into frameworks that enhance performance, strengthen cross-functional alignment, and amplify marketing's contribution to enterprise growth. Furthermore, this position functions as an advisor to the Chief Marketing Officer by bridging marketing strategy with operational execution, ensuring personnel, processes, and technology are aligned to promote consistency, data-driven decision-making, and sustained organizational growth.
TASKS, DUTIES, AND FUNCTIONS:
• Provide leadership and insight to the Marketing Operations team to deliver enterprise-wide impact through operational excellence and collaboration.
• Establish comprehensive employee initiatives focused on onboarding enablement, engagement, and expedited ramp-up for new Marketing hires to ensure preparedness, foster capability development, and promote consistency across teams within the Marketing organization.
• Establish governance frameworks and standardized processes that translate marketing strategy into operational plans to drive efficiency, accountability, and measurable business impact.
• Oversee workflow automation, change management, process improvement, capacity planning, and prioritization to optimize marketing operations and scale initiatives across the enterprise.
• Supervise the implementation of marketing enablement and campaign execution, ensuring the precise and efficient handling of materials, production workflows, and distribution processes to facilitate prompt and successful campaign outcomes.
• Supervise the end-to-end campaign and project lifecycles, ensuring enterprise marketing initiatives are delivered on time, on budget, and aligned with strategic priorities.
• Oversee marketing operational support platforms and tools (including automation, DAMS, capacity planning, and workflow solutions), ensuring they facilitate efficient processes, integrate seamlessly with existing systems, and support scalable execution.
• Manage and assess internal pilot and testing sessions to validate new processes, tools, and campaign workflows before enterprise rollout.
• Collaborate with the Analytics team to produce Business Unit Reviews and performance dashboards for the CMO and Leadership team, presenting data-driven insights and outlining marketing contributions to overall business outcomes.
• Prepare executive-level updates, CMO briefings, board materials, and reporting to provide clear visibility into marketing performance and enterprise impact.
• Lead the marketing budget, financial planning, and vendor relationships, overseeing contracts, tools, and resources are optimized for maximum ROI and long- term scalability.
• Serve as a cross-functional liaison to ensure alignment, efficiency, and unified execution across business units.
• Act as a trusted and strategic advisor to the CMO on organizational priorities, critical operational issues, employee-related matters, and transformation initiatives, offering insights that drive performance and innovation.
• Provide strategic support on enterprise-level projects and initiatives as needed.
PHYSICAL SKILLS, ABILITIES, AND EXERTION REQUIRED:
• Strong oral, interpersonal, and written communication skills to support Marketing Operations.
• Manual dexterity to operate computers and standard office equipment, including calculators, fax machines, and telephones.
