Job Description Summary:

The Senior Director, People Business Partner is an enthusiastic and talented People leader who will partner closely with the PayPal Technology leadership team to drive and evolve forward-thinking global talent strategies and services. The Technology Leadership team is responsible for the overall leadership, strategic planning, P&L and day-to-day management of all aspects related to PayPal’s Technology stack that powers our internal and external products and services including PayPal and Venmo. You will own the development and implementation of thoughtful engagement with the team and employees to advance one-of-a-kind employee experiences. You will be responsible for supporting the people agenda for multiple senior leaders. You will also be accountable for leading programs at scale, from need identification to implementation, considering the unique needs of our internal customers and operate seamlessly in close partnership with the People Centers of Excellence (Talent & Organizational Development, Total Rewards, Talent Acquisition, People Partner Support teams).

Responsibilities will be strategic and broad: leadership consulting on People matters, people manager coaching & development, performance and talent management, organizational realignment and workforce planning, talent sourcing, hiring & retention strategies, and People program development and implementation. This role will be responsible for helping to strengthen the senior leadership team by providing coaching and guidance to senior leaders to further develop their leadership capability, impact, and capacity.
