Facilities Maintenance Technician

We are seeking a Facilities Maintenance Technician for our First Quality located in Lewistown, PA.  This position will be responsible for executing most tasks within the Facilities Maintenance group

Primary responsibilities include:

• • Observes all safety rules and uses the proper safety equipment at all times.  (PPE,  LOTO, construction safety, etc) 

  • Participate as needed in the maintenance and repair of facility service systems 

  • Perform electrical systems installation, maintenance and repair 

  • Perform carpentry work (fabrication of crates, platforms, tables, framing, and associated installation) 

  • Repair and install drywall 

  • Paint walls, guards, floors, parking lines, etc 

  • Perform lifting with proper rigging techniques 

  • Install and repair door lock equipment and door hardware; and know the facility lock system 

  • Train other team members 

  • Drill and tap all sizes properly 

  • Use hand and power tools (bandsaw, table saw, bench and hand grinders, sanders, snow blower, etc.) 

  •  Practice good hygiene, treating everyone with respect, being constructive and tactful, communicating with your team and customers, and abiding by company policies and procedures 

  • Off-shift call-in availability
