We are seeking a Facilities Maintenance Technician for our First Quality located in Lewistown, PA. This position will be responsible for executing most tasks within the Facilities Maintenance group
Primary responsibilities include:
Observes all safety rules and uses the proper safety equipment at all times. (PPE, LOTO, construction safety, etc)
Participate as needed in the maintenance and repair of facility service systems
Perform electrical systems installation, maintenance and repair
Perform carpentry work (fabrication of crates, platforms, tables, framing, and associated installation)
Repair and install drywall
Paint walls, guards, floors, parking lines, etc
Perform lifting with proper rigging techniques
Install and repair door lock equipment and door hardware; and know the facility lock system
Train other team members
Drill and tap all sizes properly
Use hand and power tools (bandsaw, table saw, bench and hand grinders, sanders, snow blower, etc.)
Practice good hygiene, treating everyone with respect, being constructive and tactful, communicating with your team and customers, and abiding by company policies and procedures
Off-shift call-in availability
