Job Description
What we expect of you
Join Visa Inc, a global leader in digital payments technology, as a Director of Product Management supporting wallet-oriented initiatives in the online check-out space. This person will be joining the Click to Pay team, and primarily focusing on supporting clients and partners that need white-labelled or on-behalf-of services to accelerate secure, convenient, and scalable digital payment experiences. You will be instrumental in managing product strategy and development of features and functionality for wallets choosing Visa as their technology provider. Your scope will include ensuring interoperability with other Visa digital services and delivering holistic, best-in-class solutions to meet the evolving needs of the payments landscape. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including North America Product, Engineering, Design and Sales to drive product success and adoption.
Core responsibilities include:
Work closely with the NA Product team and clients on intaking requirements, and vetting product design with Architects and Engineering to ensure a well-orchestrated roadmap.
Drive product roadmap delivery progress with clear joint performance metrics with Technology, efficient processes, and quick troubleshooting on any challenges. Monitor and analyse product performance metrics to iterate and optimize product performance continuously.
Ideate on product concepts in partnership with Design and Commercialization leads, iteratively assessing client/consumer needs and behaviours as inputs. Assess new opportunities in the market for Visa to further digital payment experiences and well-placed strategically as the differentiated provider.
Evangelize the product vision to strategic clients, product delivery teams, GTM functions and executive stakeholders. Maintain subject-matter expertise and deep knowledge on Click to Pay in general and its evolving roadmap.
Oversee the development of product strategy documents, go-to-market plans, and product requirements and specifications.
Interface with clients in conjunction with Regional Product and Commercial teams to ensure a close ongoing collaboration with clients.
Work with EMVCo representatives at Visa for Click to Pay and Secure Remote Commerce to ensure agenda and requirements are well represented for evolving Visa specs for wallet clients.
This is a hybrid position. Hybrid employees can alternate time between both remote and office. Employees in hybrid roles are expected to work from the office 2-3 set days a week (determined by leadership/site), with a general guidepost of being in the office 50% or more of the time based on business needs.
Qualifications
Basic Qualifications
- 10 or more years of work experience with a Bachelor’s Degree or at least 8 years of work experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters/ MBA/JD/MD) or at least 3 years of work experience with a PhD
- 10+ years of experience in product management, with a focus on digital payments or e-commerce platforms.
- Experience with commercial and operational frameworks for delivering and scalable a B2B service globally. Advanced planning, organizational and problem-solving skills
- Strong understanding of payment technologies, including EMVCo standards and tokenization. Expert knowledge on payment eco-system, digital product and payment channels and how these shape the eco-system, impact clients’ business and influence consumer payment choice.
Preferred Qualifications
- 12 or more years of work experience with a Bachelor’s Degree or 8-10 years of experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or 6+ years of work experience with a PhD
- Bachelor’s degree in business, computer science, or a related field.
- Proven track record of successfully launching and managing products in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with a large Technology team.
