The Opportunity That Awaits You:
We are looking for an enthusiastic, versatile, and detail-oriented Financial Analyst to join our Finance team and support our Operations team, reporting to the FP&A Operations Director. This is a key position to support and manage OpEx in a fast-growing medical device company. Your responsibilities include assisting with forecasting, reporting, and budgeting processes for operating expense. You’ll prepare monthly reports, perform variance analysis, and help manage the forecasting tool while working in a fluid, fast growing environment.
The Opportunity That Awaits You:

Your responsibilities include assisting with forecasting, reporting, and budgeting processes for operating expense. You’ll prepare monthly reports, perform variance analysis, and help manage the forecasting tool while working in a fluid, fast growing environment.
What Your Day-To-Day Will Involve:
- Planning & Forecasting: support development of planning, budgeting, and forecasting process and tracking of expenses for our Operations group
- Perform variance analysis: bridging forecast/actuals compared to forecast and plan
- Monthly financial close and reporting: work cross-functionally on monthly accruals, headcount reporting, and tracking. Assist in preparing monthly financial reports for departmental leaders.
- Support Financial Planning Tool: Manage the accuracy of the Actual data in the Planning tool and loading the Forecast and Budget into Adaptive Planning. Provide monthly forecasting process, validating financial assumptions and data accuracy in the Adaptive Planning
- Prepare financial models: Provide ad hoc financial modeling and analysis as needed
- Communicate and collaborate effectively: Must be comfortable supporting VP budget owners, with ability to articulate detailed information into executive level summaries
The Qualifications We Need You to Possess
- 2+ years of relevant or progressive experience in financial planning, reporting and analysis
- Familiar with Workday Adaptive Planning
- Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or another quantitative discipline
The Qualifications We’d Like You to Possess
- Outstanding interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills
- Strong technical skills and experience with aptitude of learning new software and systems
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Advanced skills in excel (financial modeling), and other tools including GL (e.g. SAP, Oracle, QAD) and reporting/planning tools (e.g. Tableau, Hyperion, Adaptive).
