<h3>Job Description</h3><p>If you love diving deep into website architecture, crawlability, rendering, indexing, semantics, and Core Web Vitals, want to be the technical counterpart to our front-end and back-end engineers, this role is for you! You won’t code daily, but you will read code, review technical specs for SEO impact, and ask the right engineering questions to ship measurable organic growth. </p><p>You’ll sit close to engineering and product, translating audits and insights into clear specs, partnering through development and QA, and validating outcomes in staging and production. You’ll shape rendering strategies, manage crawl and indexation at scale, guide semantics and internationalization, and run experiments that prove impact. If you enjoy turning complex site mechanics into search-friendly, high-performing experiences, join us. </p><p><strong>YOUR ROLE AT SIXT</strong></p><ul></ul><ul><li><p>Evaluate and improve site architecture: URL strategy, internal linking, pagination, faceted navigation, canonicals, redirects, and hreflang. </p></li></ul><ul><li><p>Partner with engineers on rendering and performance: SSR/CSR/hybrid, hydration, edge/CDN rules, caching headers, lazy-loading, and CWV; monitor regressions. </p></li></ul><ul><li><p>Manage crawl and indexation: robots rules, XML sitemaps, parameter handling, crawl traps/rate shaping, and log-file insights. </p></li></ul><ul><li><p>Drive semantics and i18n at scale: structured data patterns, component semantics, metadata systems, and language/country mapping. </p></li></ul><ul><li><p>Experiment and deliver: plan SEO split tests with proper instrumentation; translate audits into precise tickets/specs, validate fixes, and report impact via dashboards and queries. </p></li></ul><p><strong>YOUR SKILLS MATTER</strong></p><ul><li><p><strong>Technical SEO Expertise</strong> 4+ years in technical SEO on complex, dynamic or JS-heavy sites/platforms. </p></li></ul><ul><li><p><strong>Web Technologies</strong> Comfortable reading HTML/CSS/JS; can discuss React/Vue/Next/Nuxt, SSR vs CSR, and rendering trade-offs. </p></li></ul><ul><li><p><strong>Web Infrastructure Knowledge</strong> Strong grasp of HTTP, headers, caching, CDNs, redirects, status codes, and security/SEO interactions. </p></li></ul><ul><li><p><strong>Tools &amp; Scripting</strong> Hands-on with Screaming Frog/Sitebulb, GSC, GA4, and log analysis; able to write basic SQL.
