As a Downstream Chemicals Technical Training Instructor, you'll be part of a global organization that's shaping the future of the energy industry. As a key member of our organization, you'll play a vital role in delivering high-quality training that accelerates the successful deployment of new technologies and drives business success.
As a Technical Training Instructor, you'll be responsible for:
- Creating and delivering training on the latest technologies for refining, water treatment, and finished fuel treatment.
- Collaborating with technology managers and subject matter experts to stay current on technical matters and ensure training material is up-to-date and meets business needs.
- Developing and delivering new training classes and workshops specifically tailored for Downstream Chemicals professionals.
- Working with stakeholders to identify training needs and develop effective training solutions.
- Ensuring training facilities and tools comply with company standards on HSE, IT, legal, and security aspects.
- Maintaining and updating training materials to reflect changes in technologies and business needs.
- Engaging with technology managers and SMEs to stay current on technical matters and ensure training material is up-to-date and meets business needs.
- Recommending, setting up, and deploying new training ideas to increase the effectiveness of classes and engagement of students.
Fuel your passion
To be successful in this role you will:
- Have a bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college.
- 5+ years of experience in a similar role involving training of technical Downstream elements (ie. refining, water treatment, finished fuel treatment, etc…) in a formal setting.
- Have an aptitude for interacting and communicating effectively with people from different professional and personal backgrounds.
- Recommend, set up and deploy new training ideas to increase the effectiveness of the classes and engagement of the students.
- Be methodical and organized to prepare, execute, and complete training activities.
- Be a quick learner capable of adopting new technologies, to include video and Web-Based Training creation, to enhance classroom experience.
- Be proficient in Power Point and Excel
