Raytheon - Air & Space Defense Systems (ASDS) is seeking a Director, Program Management to support ground satellite software and hardware program activity within the Space, Intelligence, Surveillance & Reconnaissance (S-ISR) Sub-Strategic Business Unit (SSBU).
The successful candidate will need to be familiar with all aspects of agile development and the ability to manage hardware and construction efforts for antenna projects through onsite construction managers. The leader will be responsible for managing multiple Integrated Product Team Leads (IPTLs) and Mission Solution Managers.
What You Will Do
Lead all aspects of daily execution of the program with ongoing construction of new ground antennas. This includes modernization of the hardware and existing hardware and software baselines
Interface with Integrated Product Team Leads (IPTLs) and lead engineering staff to collaborate across multiple functions, software, hardware, and construction of satellite ground antenna locations
Interface directly with the customer technical representatives Contracting Officer Technical Representative (COTR) to set the direction of the program
Lead assessment and corrective action on the technical performance of the program though analysis of current earned value and technical metrics including agile software metrics
Interface with senior Raytheon portfolio leadership to report status, represent the program and customer needs, and advocate for the program
Review, correct and implement technical project plans for software development and maintenance, hardware infrastructure upgrades, and antenna construction and deployments for a large ground satellite baseline
Lead and review program financial baseline reviews working with the cross functional team and the program finance and engineering leads
Chair engineering change proposal and estimate to complete financial reviews working with contracts, change management, and the program chief engineer to consolidate input, set final direction, and communicate changes to the customer and team
Attract, retain, supervise, and develop talent
Travel to support business engagements
Qualifications You Must Have:
Typically requires a Bachelor's degree in a related discipline and 14 years of relevant experience
Experience managing cost, schedule, and tech
