As a Data Scientist at AFS, you will be at the heart of our mission, transforming complex data into actionable intelligence. You will join a team of curious and dedicated professionals, working together to tackle challenging problems in a fast-paced and rewarding environment.
What you'll need:
- Bachelor’s degree in relevant technical field
- 1 year of experience programming with data analysis software such as: R, Python, SAS, or MATLAB
- Experience with data visualization tools (e.g.: Tableau, Power BI, D3, etc.), machine learning, dataset analysis or developing analytics
Bonus points if you have:
- Familiarity or experience working with AI/ML or Cyber
- Experience with graph-based algorithms and analytics
- Familiarity with production-level deployment of machine learning models
- Experience working with large-scale or complex datasets
- Knowledge of data mining techniques specific to network logs or structured metadata
- Experience with cloud-based data analytics platforms
- Familiarity with agile development methodologies in data science projects
- Experience with automated feature engineering or model selection tools
- Knowledge of data privacy and security best practices in analytics
- Experience in software development, cloud development, analyzing datasets, or developing descriptive, predictive, and prescriptive analytics
Clearance:
Must have an active TS/SCI with polygraph level clearance
As required by local law, Accenture Federal Services provides reasonable ranges of compensation for hired roles based on labor costs in the states of California, Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts, Minnesota, New Jersey, New York, Vermont, Virginia, Washington, and the District of Columbia, and the city of Cleveland. The base pay range for this position in these locations is shown below. Compensation for roles at Accenture Federal Services varies depending on a wide array of factors, including but not limited to office location, role, skill set, and level of experience.
