Summary of Job Duties:

As a member of a multi-disciplinary team, the Post Doctoral Fellow of Biological and Agricultural Engineering will conduct research directed towards contributing to cutting-edge research on the ecohydrology of grazing pastures, specifically investigating eddy fluxes and water use efficiency under varying grazing management practices. These projects include: a) investigate how different grazing management strategies impact carbon and water cycling in grassland ecosystems, b) integrate remote sensing data (e.g., NDVI, EVI, land surface temperature) with eddy flux measurements to scale up findings and develop predictive models of water use efficiency, and c) quantify water use efficiency and its temporal and spatial variability across different grazing treatments.
