Spare Parts Specialist

Position Summary

This position is responsible for identifying/sourcing specifications and suppliers for spare parts brought by FE. The position also initiates the RFQ, Purchase Request, and PO launch. Performs inspection GR [good received] upon arrival of materials and submits invoice in MyFinance or BQMS for vendor payment.

Role and Responsibilities

System knowledge of BQMS, GMES, MyFinance, Excel, and Spare Parts Portal. Ability to learn new software and adapt to the needs of Facility Engineering.

Time Management and communication skills is key to be successful in this role.
Ability to learn facility inventory control and purchasing software (BQMS, GMES, MyFinance, Spare Parts Portal)

Intermediate level in MS Excel preferred.
Great communication skills, both written and verbal.

This position regularly communicates via email with foreign vendors for quoting and shipment status.
Technical knowledge of spare parts and specifications.

Skills and Qualifications

Associate Degree in Business Administration or Higher preferred [HS diploma or GED with minimum of 1 to 2 years of working experience required]
1-2 years' experience in Manufacturing environment, preferably in Production
