Senior IT System Administrator

Job Description

The IT System Administrator will be located in Houston Texas and will report to the Systems Team Leader based in Switzerland.
He will:
•    Hands-on and multi-tasking: including installation, upgrade, configuration, administration and maintenance on mostly Windows server based systems
•    Manage local projects from beginning to end
•    Manage professional services, and provide documentation
•    Follow, upgrade and understand trading applications
•    Expect duty to expand beyond normal business hours
 

Qualifications

•    Minimum 5-7 years of experience in a similar position
•    Windows Server Administration (Windows Server 2019 DE and Core)
•    Active Directory Domain Services administration, including GPO
•    AzureAD, Teams and other Microsoft 365 services
•    VMware ESXi and vCenter administration (6.5 at least)
•    Exchange Server Administration (Exchange 2016)
•    Knowledge on trading applications and trading market will be a plus
•    Networking topology global understanding (DMZ, load balancing, firewall, Vlans, etc…), will be a plus
•    Veeam backup technologies, will be a plus
•    NetApp storage (FAS and E-Series), NFS/CIFS protocols, and NetApp backups solutions, will be a plus
