GENERAL DESCRIPTION OF POSITION
This position is part of the management team. This position is responsible for the daily operations of all CHC/SEK clinics, including but not limited to recruitment and supervision of staff, patient flow, ensuring that patients have access to care without barriers, resolving, when necessary, patient complaints, working with clinical staff and facility management. This position has oversight of practice managers and coordinators and is a resource for all sites.
Requirements
ESSENTIAL DUTIES
- Supervises Practice Managers and Coordinators.
- Ensures consistent patient flow through oversight of communication center, patient reception, registration and checkout procedures.
- Monitors procedures to assure patients access to care through patient scheduling and collections.
- Conducts audits of patient accounts to ensure data is complete and accurate.
- Oversees preparation of schedules for providers and adjusts schedules as needed. Ensures staffing is appropriate to care for patients through all service lines.
- Supports provider staff in care for patients through implementation and monitoring policies and procedures.
- Maintains safety procedures within the clinic through organization of workstations and clinic space.
- Assists in the implementation of new and enhanced services including the onboarding of new clinic locations.
- Analyzes and utilizes data to improve processes and enhance quality.
- Actively participates in the delivery of quality services by providing ongoing training, and development of staff including onboarding of new practice management.
- Attends and participates in committee meetings as requested or assigned.
- Monitors Mission Control procedures to ensure continuity between Mission Control and front-end process and procedures.

QUALIFICATIONS
- High School diploma or equivalent required.
- Degree in health-care administration or related field, preferred.
- Minimum three years of supervisory experience in a health care setting.
- Valid driver’s license as travel to CHC/SEK sites is expected frequently.
- Any combination of education and work experience that would likely provide the required knowledge and abilities is qualifying.

- Social and cultural sensitivity appropriate to ethnically and economically diverse patient-and employee-base
- Demonstrate knowledge of the rationale of appropriate patient care.
- Communicates through appropriate channels. Use proper chain of command for patient complaints.
- Ability to handle emergency situations calmly and effectively.
- Must be computer literate.
- Must be able to maintain good inter-personal relationship with co-workers and other members of the health care team and the organization.
- Provide customer service in accordance to the organization’s mission.
- Be courteous and respectful when interacting with patients and family members.
- Maintain patient confidentiality in accordance to organization’s policy and procedure and HIPAA requirements.
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals.
WORKING CONDITIONS
While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly required to sit; use hands and fingers to operate computer keyboard, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms and talk or hear. The employee is occasionally required to stand. The employee may occasionally lift and/or move up to 10 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus. Computer work is frequent. Good lighting and comfortable temperature of ventilation at all times.
