Job Description:
This position will support the Program Director in effectively implementing program objectives and advancing its mission by providing access to an inclusive and excellent Baylor education for Baylor's diverse student population. The purpose of the McNair Program is to prepare eligible participants for doctoral studies through involvement in research and other scholarly activities. Eligible scholars are from disadvantaged backgrounds and who have demonstrated strong academic potential.
What Will You Do:
- Assist with McNair Scholars Professional development
- Some travel to conferences with students
- Assist McNair Program with program goals and operation.
- Perform all other duties as assigned to support Baylor’s mission
- Ability to comply with University policies
- Maintain regular and punctual attendance
