Hiring Unit:

School of Physical & Occupational Therapy

Position Summary:

The incumbent will be responsible for the following tasks but not limited to:

  • Overseeing and coordinating a multisite study in Quebec
  • Working collaboratively with the coordinator in Ontario
  • Completing ethics renewals using Nagano and McGill IRB via ERAP
  • Building relationships and communicating with study sites
  • Applying recruitment strategies across sites
  • Managing clinician teams and coordinating trainings
  • Collecting study data on REDCap (with Student Research Assistant)
  • Organizing and validating data in Excel, creating charts and tables
  • Managing study budget

Qualifications:

Interest/experience in research and study coordination

Fluent in English and French

Strong communication, organizational, and collaboration skills

Knowledge in Word, Excel/SPSS/R, Reference Manager (preference for experience with EndNote)

Knowledge of the REDCap data-collection software

Academic writing and editing skills

Experience working with youth with disability is preferable

Individual with Master’s degree, a graduate student or a clinician (in the field of Rehabilitation/Health Sciences/Social Work/Education/Psychology or similar preferred)

Knowledge of French and English: McGill University is an English-language university where day to day duties may require English communication both verbally and in writing. The level of English required for this position has been assessed at a level #4 (qualifier) on a scale of 0-4.
