Role Overview
The Head of Product is a new role in our company, which gives a great opportunity to build the whole department from scratch. You will report directly to the CTO and partner closely with the CEO and senior business leaders. You will own the product vision, strategy, and execution for CapsLock’s internal MarTech portfolio - Media Buyer Automation Platform, AI Call Centre, Experimentation & A/B Testing, and AI SMS - turning them into a durable competitive advantage. This role is equal parts builder and leader: you will strengthen product fundamentals while growing a high-performance Product Team that ships fast, learns faster, and drives measurable revenue and cost impact.
Responsibilities
Leadership & cross-functional collaboration
- Build, lead, and mentor a high-performing Product Team
- Partner daily with Engineering, Data, Media Buying, Creative, and Operations to translate acquisition realities into product direction and shipped outcomes.
- Create a strong culture of accountability and continuous improvement
- Represent Product at the executive level
Product strategy & vision
- Define and continuously refine product strategy, grounded in business priorities and a clear point of view on what “great” looks like
- Own product roadmaps end-to-end
- Translate strategy into quarterly OKRs and measurable goals, ensuring alignment across Product, Engineering, and performance teams
- Lead market and competitor research to pressure-test our direction and identify new opportunities
Business ownership, data & experimentation
- Own the performance outcomes of the product portfolio - tie product work to company impact and cost efficiency
- Build decision frameworks that combine product analytics, experimentation results, and operational feedback to guide prioritization
- Establish an experimentation system across the stack: A/B testing strategy, feature flagging, hypothesis templates, guardrails, and statistical hygiene
Execution & delivery leadership
- Lead end-to-end delivery across multiple workstreams: align scope, sequencing, and resourcing
- Partner with Engineering leaders to ensure delivery plans are observable
- Raise the bar on product quality: instrumentation, QA readiness, edge-case handling, launch checklists, and incident/rollback playbooks
- Own go-to-internal adoption: onboarding, enablement, documentation, and feedback loops
- Establish strong release governance: staged rollouts, monitoring, and post-launch reviews
Requirements
- 7+ years of experience in Product Management, including senior leadership roles (Director / Head of / Group PM / Lead).
- Proven experience owning complex, data-heavy products end-to-end - from discovery and strategy through delivery, adoption, and scaling.
- Experience building and leading product teams: hiring, mentoring, setting standards, and creating a high-performance culture.
- Confident data and analytics fluency: experience with metrics design, instrumentation/event taxonomy, dashboards, and the ability to turn data into decisions.
- Excellent executive reporting skills: clear narratives, crisp trade-offs, and steady communication under ambiguity.
- Experience working effectively with distributed teams across time zones
- Strong written and verbal English communication.
