Associate, Infrastructure Engineer

Qontigo, a financial intelligence innovator and a leader in the modernization of investment management, is seeking an Infrastructure Engineer to join their team. As part of the Deutsche Börse Group, Qontigo provides world-class indices, best-of-breed analytics, and technological expertise to help clients achieve competitive advantage in a rapidly changing marketplace. The successful candidate will work closely with the Global Infrastructure team to support and maintain the organization's infrastructure services.

Responsibilities

• Participate in the planning, implementation, and maintenance of the company's infrastructure systems.
• Support critical server infrastructure including Linux, Windows, and virtualization technologies such as VMware.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure infrastructure systems align with business needs and support strategic initiatives.
• Provide technical support to resolve infrastructure issues in a timely and effective manner.
• Monitor infrastructure performance and conduct periodic system assessments to identify potential issues.
• Implement security best practices and maintain system compliance with industry standards.
• Maintain effective communication with key stakeholders and ensure high level of customer service.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or related field.
• At least 2 years of experience in infrastructure engineering or a related field.
• Experience with Linux administration and scripting.
• Strong experience with virtualization technologies such as VMware and Hyper-V.
• Knowledge of network and security protocols such as TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and SSL/TLS.
• Familiarity with cloud technologies such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud is preferred.
• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills.
