Position Number: 119020 Position Title (Classification Title): Assistant Professor of Chemistry 119020 Working Title: Assistant Professor of Chemistry Job Summary: The Chemistry Department at the University of West Florida in Pensacola, FL is seeking candidates with expertise in Chemistry for a full-time tenure-track Assistant Professor appointment (Position #119020) starting August 2026. The successful applicant will be expected to provide instruction (including organic chemistry) at the undergraduate level, to conduct successful academic research with students and to perform service activities that contribute to the success of the department and the mission of the university. Outstanding candidates with interdisciplinary synthetic research will be considered. The candidate must have a PhD in Chemistry from an accredited institution with a strong commitment to teaching, academic research, and service.
