The Impact You’ll Make in this Role

As the Director, Finance Reporting Strategy, you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative and diverse people around the world. Here, you will make an impact by:

• Use independent judgment and discretion to develop and execute the Finance analytics strategy, aligning with business goals.

• Responsible for the empowerment of users to maximize their skills and use of data assets and to create a self-service analytics strategy.

• Lead and grow a team of data professionals, fostering a culture of excellence and innovation.

• Drive the development of analytical tools and processes to improve data quality, analysis, and reporting capabilities.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate and build out Finance and non-Finance analytics

• Communicate complex data insights to stakeholders at all levels of the organization in a clear and actionable manner.

• Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness of data and analytics initiatives.

• Stay abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies in data and analytics.

Your Skills and Expertise 

To set you up for success in this role from day one, Solventum requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in business administration, accounting, finance, or equivalent fields (completed and verified prior to start) and Ten (10) years of experience working in a finance organization.

Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:

• Previous experience advising senior finance leadership on finance transformation, process improvements, financial planning redesign, service delivery model design and implementation, and other essential elements of the finance team.

• A master’s degree in finance or business from an accredited institution.

• Must have advanced knowledge of general accounting, processes and key terminology related to accounting concepts.

• Understand advancements in technology and innovations which are happening across digital, predictive analytics, data visualizations, robotics, and artificial intelligence to influence Finance direction.

• Experience with finance operating models and supporting organization structures, and process best practices.

• Experience in continuous improvement programs, root cause analysis, and project management.

• Outstanding integrity, initiative, creativity, and passion.

• Project management for large scale business transformation.
