We are currently seeking qualified applicants to join our team as a Commercial Credit Analyst. This schedule would be M-F 8:00am – 5:00pm.

About the Role:
A successful Commercial Credit Analyst possesses a keen attention to detail and professional communication skills. This role requires analyzing credit data and financial statements to determine the risk involved in extending credit or lending money. As a Commercial Credit Analyst, you will work closely with lenders and other analysts, using judgment and creative problem-solving to provide accurate, factual, and polished reports to guide decision-making.

Primary Job Functions:

• Analyze credit data and financial statements to assess the risk in extending credit or lending money for both existing and potential borrowers.
• Prepare clear, factual, and comprehensive written reports summarizing the degree of risk involved in credit decisions.
• Review financial data such as income growth, quality of management, and expected profitability of loans.
• Compare liquidity, profitability, and credit histories of establishments being evaluated with industry peers in similar geographical locations.
• Evaluate customer financial records and recommend payment plans based on earnings, savings, payment history, and purchase activity.

Essential Job Functions:

1. Analyze credit data and financial statements to determine the degree of risk involved in extending credit or lending money on existing and potential borrowers.
2. Prepare written reports that include the degree of risk involved in extending credit or lending money.
3. Evaluate customer records.
4. Copy, compile and distribute loan packages.
5. Assist in monitoring credits as required by loan officers.
6. Arrange Monday noon loan meeting lunch for the Lending Officers.
7. Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor / management.
8. Comply with federal, state, and company policies, procedures, laws and regulations.
9. Adhere to all relevant security responsibilities as outlined in the Bank's Information Security Program and Written Security Program.
