As a Senior Ops Manager at Happy Gut Life, you will play a pivotal role in taking over the project and business management responsibilities of the outgoing COO. Your primary objective will be to ensure the seamless day-to-day operations of the business and contribute to the long-term growth strategy. With your keen attention to detail and proactive mindset, you will prevent any tasks from slipping through the cracks, capture all innovative ideas, and ensure timely and budget-conscious execution.

📋 In this role, you will:

📧 Manage the weekly email planning and promotions to engage and retain customers.

🎁 Decide on product promotions to drive sales and optimize customer experience.

📝 Design and plan monthly blog posts, utilizing tools like ChatGPT to draft content for approval.

📈 Review key performance drivers and develop monthly business plans for approval.

📦 Oversee inventory management, aligning it with business needs and planning promotions accordingly.

During the onboarding process, the outgoing COO will provide comprehensive training and share a list of operational tasks to facilitate a smooth transition into your role. It is preferred that you begin the onboarding process before the end of June to ensure a seamless handover, as the COO will be stepping down at the end of the month. This role requires a quick learning curve, particularly if you have prior experience in e-commerce, preferably within the supplement industry or a related direct-to-consumer field.

Alongside the COO, you will dive into understanding the business dynamics, identifying performance drivers, and formulating a robust plan to fuel and increase income, including strategic planning for upcoming holiday sales. Additionally, you will be expected to familiarize yourself with essential business tools such as Slack, Asana, Klaviyo, and Shopify to effectively manage operations and drive success.

This is a full-time role, requiring you to have at least 6 hours of overlap between 10 AM - 6 PM EST.
