This position will require you to be available for On Call Shifts, as well as occasional weekends. This is a full time non-exempt position.
Job Responsibilities:
- Develops, evaluates and implements departmental for the maintenance and repair of medical equipment, buildings and building systems.
- Administers and manages the preventative maintenance program to ensure uninterrupted operation of the entire physical plant
- Coordinates the repair of equipment or recommends the replacement of, additions to, equipment or physical plant as necessary.
- Set priorities, plans work schedules, makes job assignments, orders needed materials, supplies and parts. Recommends use of outside specialty contractors as circumstances indicate.
- Schedules and supervises maintenance repair work, alterations, remodeling, construction, and the checkout, installation, and servicing of mechanical and electrical equipment and building systems.
- Maintains an inventory of parts and supplies to maximize the operational readiness of the hospital's buildings, systems and equipment with due respect to the limitations of cost, regulations and relative priorities.
- Performs weekly/monthly preventative maintenance program of fire alarm system according to National Fire Prevention Association criteria.

Qualifications
Minimum of high school Diploma or GED equivalent.
Minimum of 2 years' experience working in a hospital or healthcare setting required!!
Preferred: Associate's degree or equivalent from two-year college, or 3 to 5 years related experience or training.
Graduation from a technical school and HVAC (EPA) Certification a huge plus.
