We are seeking a talented Support Engineer to join our team and work on ETRM systems supporting Gas & Power Trading. The ideal candidate will have experience working within Front Office environment and working on ETRM systems.

Role and responsibilities

• Technical Support: Address and resolve technical issues related to the ETRM system, including system outages, data discrepancies, and performance concerns. Collaborate with IT teams and vendors to implement solutions promptly.
• User Assistance: Offer assistance and guidance to traders on system functionalities, navigation, and best practices. 
• Configuration and Customization: Work closely with the trading and risk management teams to understand business requirements and assist in configuring the ETRM system to meet specific needs. Implement system customizations and enhancements in collaboration with development teams.
• Issue Resolution: Investigate and analyze trading discrepancies, trade lifecycle issues, and risk management concerns. Take proactive measures to prevent future problems and ensure data accuracy.
• Documentation: Maintain comprehensive documentation of system configurations, issue resolutions, and user guides. Keep documentation up to date with changes and improvements.
• Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including traders, risk analysts, and IT professionals, to ensure alignment between business requirements and system capabilities. Participate in meetings to gather feedback and address concerns.
• Monitoring and Reporting: Implement monitoring tools to track system performance and generate regular reports on key metrics. Proactively identify potential issues and recommend improvements.
• Compliance and Security: Ensure that the ETRM system complies with industry regulations and security standards. Implement and monitor security measures to protect sensitive trading and risk data.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Computer Science, Finance, Business).
• Proven experience in supporting ETRM systems or similar trading platforms.
• Knowledge of Orchestrade is a plus.
• Strong understanding of commodity trading workflows, including front, middle, and back-office processes.
• Proficiency in scripting languages and database management.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Effective communication skills to interact with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

The salary range for this role is US$80,000 - US$150,000
