Enterprise Architect

As an Enterprise Architect, you will bring expertise in designing and implementing innovative technology solutions that aligns with organizational goals, technological strategy and drive operational excellence. With a comprehensive understanding of complex technological environments, you will specialize in creating adaptable and scalable architectures that enhance efficiency, user experience, and overall business performance. Key Responsibilities

• Transforming business requirements into practical technical designs, considering factors like scalability, security, interoperability, and future growth
• Forging strong partnerships with cross-functional teams and stakeholders, and collaborating to define architectural standards, principles, and guidelines that steer the organization toward its objectives
• Identifying potential risks and vulnerabilities in the architecture, and executing risk mitigation strategies while adhering to regulatory compliance, data privacy requirements etc.
• Reviewing architectural solutions to confirm alignment with the overarching architectural vision
• Monitoring the performance of existing systems and architectures, and collaborating with operational teams to identify optimization opportunities, enhancing service quality and reliability

Requirements

Must Have Qualities & Talents

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field

• Proven track record, of about 5 years, as an Enterprise Architect or a similar role

• Strong analytical process and problem-solving capabilities, enabling the synthesis of technical and business considerations

• Deep familiarity with architecture frameworks such as TOGAF, Zachman, or FEAF

• Proficiency in cloud technologies, microservices architecture, and a familiarity with API design and the API-first approach

• A good understanding of costs and benefits and a familiarity with concepts such as return on investment (ROI), total cost of ownership (TCO) to take this into account in proposals and choices

• You are able to adapt the interpretation of your role to the needs of the situation, from designing and coordinating to more operational and hands-on

• Effective communication skills, and proficiency in English and/or Dutch
