What You'll Do:

 

As an Accounts Receivable Specialist, you will generate and process invoices accurately and quickly. Your work will contribute to the financial stability of our organization, ensuring resources are optimized to provide the best care for our residents.

 

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform regular reconciliations of accounts, identify discrepancies, and collaborate with relevant departments to resolve issues promptly
• Interact with residents, families, and external partners to address billing inquiries and provide clear, empathetic explanations when needed
• Prepare and analyze accounts receivable reports, providing insights to support strategic decision-making
• Identify opportunities for process optimization and efficiency

What You'll Bring:

 

Qualifications of an Accounts Receivable Specialist include:

• At least 1 year of experience in Accounts Receivable in a healthcare environment is required; preferably in a long-term care setting
• Experience with healthcare billing practices, regulations, and relevant software applications (such as EPIC, PCC, and Microsoft Excel) is highly preferred
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Proficient in using office equipment and computer applications
• Deadline-driven, detail-oriented individual
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment
