CT Field Technician

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Travel to customer sites to rig up, deploy, and operate downhole tools for customer completions operations.
• Collaborate with customer to implement completions standard operating procedures.
• Troubleshoot downhole issues as they arise.
• Communicate field incidents and feedback reports to the appropriate departments.
• Perform other work-related task as assigned
• Comply with NOV Company HSE policies and procedures.

FACILITY/GROUP SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES

• Communicate and work with the Area Sales/Ops/Engineering/Optimization/Agent organizations to ensure that there is a clear understanding of the customer's plans and activities.
• Facilitate communication with the teams to ensure clarity around goals, issues, and opportunities.
• Provide management/engineering with field operational feedback to help analyze downhole tool data and improve efficiency and performance.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE QUALIFICATIONS

• A Field Service Technician requires relevant industry and general business experience, high-level thru tubing experience, and broad technical knowledge regarding Downhole products and service offerings. 
• BA or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Minimum of 10 years in related field

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• This position will require travel as necessary.
• Observes safety regulations, wears required safety equipment, encourages safe working practices, corrects obvious hazards immediately or reports them to Management.
• Adheres to all HSE requirements.

• Downhole coil tubing, workover, and snubbing well completion knowledge. 
• Plug milling, fishing, clean out, and or production operation knowledge.
