Position Summary:

The Logistics Coordinator performs various administrative duties in support of the Decatur, IN edible bulk and packaging departments. This position coordinates with the production scheduler and the production team to help achieve optimal customer service levels while helping maintain safe and efficient operations. This position reports to the Sr. Production Scheduler.

Main Accountabilities:

  • Order Packaging Department and Edible Oil Department supplies.
  • Update SAP/PI Sheets and process employee sales for purchased oil from Packaging Plant.
  • Order clothing for bulk and package departments.
  • Send COA’s that are requested from CSR’s after product has been received at customer location.
  • Conducts cycle counts for bulk department and filing for the department.
  • Assist with employee electronic timecard accuracy using ADP.
  • Maintain Edible Oil Production report and Shipment report.
  • Receiving’s in SAP while correcting any errors that may occur.
  • Weekly, monthly, yearly reports and assignments as the need arises.
  • Backup coverage as assigned for SAP, truck management software and One Weigh order and delivery information.
  • Additional duties as assigned.

Education/Experience:

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • 5 years office/administrative/logistics experience preferred.
  • Ability to use SAP at a high proficiency level.
  • Ability to work in a team and collaborative environment.
  • Strong working knowledge of and proficiency in SAP, Excel, and Microsoft Office.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong work ethic with excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Versatility, flexibility, and analytical skills are essential.
  • Must be able to work overtime, as required.
