Job Summary/Purpose
The Human Resources Business Partner is a hybrid role that combines hands-on HR Generalist responsibilities with an HRBP approach to working closely with managers on day-to-day people needs and longer-term workforce effectiveness. This position supports a full range of HR functions across the employee lifecycle, including recruitment, onboarding, employee engagement, benefits administration, employee relations, performance management, learning and development, and offboarding, while ensuring compliance and consistency in HR practices.
A key aspect of this role is advising and coaching people leaders on HR matters, fostering accountability, alignment with company values, and a strong, people-first culture. This role provides hands-on support to managers and employees, ensuring consistency in HR practices and alignment with company values and policies.
The ability to interpret and apply workforce data is essential to ensure this role supports Beck Suppliers’ priorities around culture, brand, and data-informed decision making.
Key Responsibilities
Work Across the Employee Lifecycle
· Support all phases of the employee experience: Attract ? Hire ? Onboard ? Engage ? Perform ? Develop ? Depart
· Promote consistency, fairness, and alignment with company values and cultural expectations throughout the lifecycle
· Model Beck Suppliers/FriendShip Values in all interactions and serve as a role model for the culture HR is helping to build and sustain
· Actively contribute to a collaborative HR team culture by sharing knowledge, supporting peers, and aligning on priorities
Talent Acquisition & Onboarding
· Lead full-cycle recruiting for assigned roles, including requisition intake, sourcing, interviewing, and extending offers
· Advise hiring managers on role definition, interview strategies, and candidate selection
· Coordinate and deliver onboarding activities to ensure a smooth and engaging new hire experience
Performance & Development
· Coach managers on performance planning, feedback, documentation, and improvement strategies
· Guide development planning and help leaders identify opportunities for employee growth
· Support execution of learning initiatives and reinforce accountability for follow-through
Benefits & Total Rewards
· Administer employee benefits programs including health, wellness, leave, and 401(k)
· Serve as a point of contact for employee benefit questions and vendor coordination
· Ensure accuracy and compliance in benefits processing, enrollment, and deductions
Employee Relations & Compliance
· Provide guidance to managers on employee concerns, disciplinary action, and workplace issues
· Conduct or support workplace investigations with fairness, discretion, and consistency
· Ensure HR policies and practices are compliant with employment laws and regulatory standards
HR Operations & Projects
· Maintain accurate and timely HRIS records and employee documentation
· Interpret and apply HR data and metrics (e.g., turnover, hiring trends, retention, performance) to support decisions and recommend improvements
· Collaborate with the analytics team to understand and apply reports that inform workforce strategy, engagement, and compliance
· Contribute to HR process improvements and participate in cross-functional projects
Support administrative needs such as scheduling, reporting, and file audits
Skills & Qualifications
Required:
· Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field
· Minimum of three years in a broad HR role (generalist or business partner)
